Tori Khalil is an LA based and Bi-Coastal Acting Coach and Mentor. She earned her BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch, with a specialization in Film and TV from Stonestreet Film Conservatory. Tori specializes in advanced on-camera technique, self-tapes and auditions, script analysis and character
development, helping students transition from stage to screen, as well as career development and mentorship. Before joining The Prep, Tori was the TA for advanced scene study at NYU’s Playwrights Horizons Theatre School, and the assistant to the Youth Commercial and Voiceover agent at a major talent agency in NYC.
Tori has been working with kids and young adults for over 10 years and is extremely passionate about creating safe and brave spaces for students to explore their own creativity and artistic voice. Her students can be seen in Feature Films, National Commercials, National and International Tours, as well as on major streaming services like Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, HULU, Nickelodeon, The Disney Channel, Disney+, & more. She has helped students
gain acceptance into the top colleges for performing arts including NYU, USC, Syracuse, Chapman, and UCLA. With a passion for mentorship, Tori successfully guides students (and parents) in their pursuit of representation and the preparation of their media and materials.
Tori herself can be seen in Feature Films, National Commercials, Regional Theatre, Major Streaming streaming services such as Apple TV, as well as doing comedy impressions on social media. Tori values training and is constantly pursuing her own education alongside her teaching. She has studied under Bob Krakower, Lesly Kahn, Ted Sluberski, John Rosenfeld, UCB, and The Groundlings. Tori currently trains with Prep Co-Founder/Co-Owner Theresa Pittius.
