The Prep LA's Sitcom Masterclass for Kids & Teens w/ Coach DeVore

Taught by DeVore Ledridge, lead of the hit series Bizaardvark, this high-energy masterclass gives young actors an inside look at what it takes to book and bring to life a lead role in the world of sitcom and multi-cam comedy. Special Guest: “Maxwell Simkins” from Bizzardvark, Scooby Doo Origins, ABC’s Changing Gears.

Students will learn how to identify beats, turns, jokes, and punctuation cues; find their rhythm, pacing, and musicality; and use blocking and physicality to elevate their scene work. They’ll develop stronger connection and active listening with scene partners while being encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, make bold choices, experiment, and discover new levels in their comedic work.
